2.2 Installing the Module/Removing the Module
EN655 is one slot type module. It is fixed to the base with both upper/lower lock levers and
mounting screws. Turn power OFF before installing and removing modules.
Procedure for installing
(1) Turn off the power of EN655 module and external power supplied to I/O modules.
(2) Check the mounting position of EN655.

NOTE
1. Total electricity consumption of modules installed in the same base must not exceed
the maximum output power rating.
For the electricity consumption of each module, refer to " Unified Controller nv series
Controller Unit Instruction Manual (6F8C1220). Chapter 2.6 Power Supply Calculation”
2. Install the module as close as possible to the CPU module (S0).
