1.2.2 Functions of the parts
The major functions of the parts are as shown below.
■ State display LED

RUN(green) Displays the hardware operation state.
ON: Running
Blinking: Waiting for parameter download
OFF: Down

ERR(red) Displays the hardware operation state.
ON: There is a problem with the module.
OFF: Module is functioning normally.

HLTH(green) Displays the EN module state.
ON: Network parameter download is finished.
OFF: Network parameters are being downloaded.
Blinking alternately with RUN: Incorrect IP
address settings
ON
L-A(green) Displays Ethernet link state.
ON: Ethernet communication is ongoing.
OFF: There are no ongoing Ethernet
communications.
ON
LNK(green) Displays the Ethernet link state.
ON: Link has been established normally
OFF: No link has been established
ON
ACT(Orange) Displays the Ethernet transmission state.
Blinking: Communication with the connection
node is ongoing.
OFF: There are no ongoing communications.

Note: Check the LED states from the front.
■ Station address setting Switch (STN-H, STN-L)
Switches to set the station address are in hexadecimal. For setting method, refer to
"Chapter 3 Setting."
■ Operation mode setting switch (MODE)
Switches to set the operation mode. For setting method, refer to "Chapter 3 Setting."
■ USB connector for maintenance(TOOL)
A USB port for maintenance. The connector is a type B connector (socket).
■ Ethernet modular connector (EN)
A communication port for the Ethernet. The Ethernet cable (category 5 or higher) is
connected to it.
