Initial Device Setup
First of all, you must set up how this equipment is managed and works as copier, printer, scan-
ner, and facsimile. This equipment can be used with the default settings, but some must be con-
figured for this equipment works properly.

Setup the Network Document Processing System
This equipment is the Network-Ready MFP that can be used immediately after you connect to
your network.
However, it is recommended to read following sections to make sure you choose right environ-
ments and efficient settings for each features on this equipment even if you connect the machine
to the above environments. Also some features require configuring the settings to suit your envi-
ronments.
This equipment may provide advanced document processing system in your place, if you add lit-
tle more environments in your place.
