78 SETUP FLOW FOR FAX FEATURES
To configure the Internet Fax environment, configure the SMTP server to send and the POP3
server to receive. Remember that a DNS server is required for the SMTP and POP3 servers to
transmit the document over the Internet. To enable receiving an internet fax, configure the POP3
account for this equipment in the POP3 server. This equipment can access the POP3 server to
check if an internet fax message has been received — same as the E-mail client software.
