Email File Capture Mode
Email mode uses POP3 to access TIF and PDF file attachments in messages sent to the e-
BRIDGE Re-Rite server. The server can then send the converted file back to the sender email
address or to another email address.
Default File Capture Mode
This feature may not be supported by all products. Consult your Toshiba MFP
documentation.
Default file capture mode is a simple method of scanning and converting files, using a standard
set of definitions for output file format and delivery route. The converted file can be:
Delivered to a single network location.
Emailed to recipients within your email domain.
Sent to an FTP account.
You can specify multiple Inpath locations to be polled by e-BRIDGE Re-Rite by creating multiple
FOLDER Process Rules in the e-BRIDGE Re-Rite web control panel.
Default Mode Process
The following image illustrates an overview of the default mode process.
Files are scanned to the Inpath location. e-BRIDGE Re-Rite polls the Inpath at regular intervals
for TIF and PDF files to process. Depending on the file processing parameters, the file is
converted to the specified output file format and delivered to the required location.
