- It becomes "Standby mode" if the reset process is completed normally.
- It becomes "Down mode" when the reset process completes abnormally (error in self-test, etc.).
- Do not issue any commands from the user program on the controller side during this mode.
2) Standby mode
- It is the mode that becomes after the reset processing by power-on or reset request is normally
completed.
- It is possible to change to this mode by the operation mode control request from the run mode.
- It is possible to set the parameter of own node/slave device to DN611B only in this mode.
- It is not possible to enter "Run mode" from this mode without setting the parameter of own node.
3) Run mode
- It is possible to set it to this mode by the operation mode control request after setting the parameter
of the own node.
- It is a mode that DN611B can transmit with the slave device.
- It is possible to select the transmission method (polling method / bit strobe method) with the slave
device.
4) Down mode
- This mode indicates that the DN611B has entered a non-recoverable state.
- When the reset request becomes an error response though it is possible to make it to "Initialize mode"
by the reset request However, if the reset request results in an error response, restart the power
supply to recover.
- Please refer to "Table 6-12 Down information" for the cause of the down mode.
Figure 4-4 shows the transition diagram of DN611B operation mode. The inside of the frame of the square
shows the operation mode of DN611B. The operation mode surrounded by the frame of the thick rectangle is
the operation mode of DN611B that can be controlled by the user program. Moreover, the thick arrow in the
figure is a request that can be specified by the user program.
