5.4 Trimming the motor

Securing cotter pin
The tilting mechanism allows the motor to be tilted.
The motor can be taken out of the water by tilting (e.g. when not in use, when dock-
ing the boat, and in shallow water).
Trimming allows the motor to be positioned optimally relative to the water surface.
For this, 4 possible trimming positions (2) are available.
