1. Use the tilt buttons to tilt the motor upwards as far as it will go,
see Chapter 6.4,

2. Actuate the motor's tilt lock.
3. Loosen the internal hex bolts (5) of the galvanic anodes for the transom bracket
(6) on the left and right hand sides.
4. Insert new galvanic anodes for transom bracket (6), and screw them tight.
9.6 Storing the motor
If you wish to store the motor tilted fully upwards, then to secure it, use the tilt lever
(3) and insert the tilt support rod (1) into the tilt support drilling (2). In addition, use
the tilt support:

When working on the motor.
■
In order to relieve the hydraulics.
