Lift Circuit Variable Orifice Adjustment
Adjustable orifices are adjusted at the factory and
should not require adjustment unless tampered with or
in special situations.
Opening valve increases lift speed. Closing valve slows
lift speed.
NOTE: Adjustment for special operating conditions
should not require more than 1/2 turn of valve in either
direction from initial adjustment.
Front Center Initial Adjustment (Fig. 25)
This adjustment affects the front center (No. 1) cutting
unit only. Loosen set screw. Turn valve clockwise to fully
closed position. Turn valve counterclockwise (open)
2-1/2 turns. Secure adjustment by tightening set screw.
Rear Initial Adjustment (Fig. 26)
Loosen set screw. Turn valve clockwise to fully closed
position. Turn valve counterclockwise (open) 2-1/4
turns. Secure adjustment by tightening set screw.
