Connecting the PTO Drive
1. Remove the 2 bolts that secure the operator
deck to the machine to access the PTO
connection (
Figure 78 ).

2. Align the roll pin holes and slide the PTO yolk
over the PTO shaft on the winter frame (
Figure

3. Install the roll pin ( Figure 79 ).
4. Tighten the bolts to secure the yolk to the shaft.
5. Use the 2 bolts (5/16 x 3/4 inch) you removed
earlier to secure the operator deck to the winter
frame (
Figure 78 ).
Connecting the Hydraulic Hoses
1. At the gear pump, loosen the supply-hose fitting
and rotate it toward the front of the machine
(
Figure 80 ).

2. Locate the 2 hoses that you removed from the
deck-lift cylinder and install the appropriate hose
cover to each hose.
3. Use a cable tie to secure each end of the hose
cover to the hose.
4. Route the hoses toward the front of the machine
(
Figure 81 ).
