This is the full open position. The suggested use for
this position is as follows (Figure 32).

Use in tall, dense grass mowing conditions.

Use in wet conditions.
•
Lowers the engine power consumption.
•
Allows increased ground speed in heavy conditions.

Using Counterweights
•
Weights are installed to improve handling, balance
and improve performance. Weights can be added or
removed to create optimized performance under
different mowing conditions and for operator
preference.
•
It is recommended that weights be added or
removed one at a time until the desired handing and
balance is achieved.

Contact an Authorized Service Dealer to order
a Weight Kit.
WARNING
Excessive weight changes can effect handling and
operation of the machine. This could cause serious
injury to you or bystanders.
Make weight changes in small increments only.
Evaluate the mower after each weight change to
ensure the machine can be operated safely.
