We should talk about the rtsp address, its standard format is: rtsp://user:password@CameraIP:RTSP
Port/Channel Index. Here "user" and "password" are the ones you log into the camera's WebUI. Channel
Index, 1 is the first stream, 2 is the second stream channel.
If RTSP authentication is not enabled, the "user:password@" part can be ignored. If the RTSP port is the
default 554, the ":RTSP Port" part can be ignored.Let's take a few examples:
Camera A, the IP address is 192.168.1.7, it does not enable RTSP authentication, its RTSP port is the
default 554, so the RTSP address of the first stream channel is: rtsp://192.168.1.7/1
Camera B, the IP address is 192.168.2.10, it has RTSP authentication enabled, its RTSP port is set to 1077,
its account and password for logging in to the camera are "admin", so the RTSP address of the first stream
channel is: rtsp://admin:[email protected]:1077/1
Camera C, the IP address is 192.168.3.4, it does not enable RTSP authentication, its RTSP port is set to
7777, and it wants to use the second stream channel (please note that the second stream channel supports up
to 720P resolution), then the RTSP address is: rtsp://192.168.3.4:7777/2
Of course, you can also use top0 Camera Tool to quickly get the RTSP address of the camera. Just click the
"First Stream RTSP URL" or "Second Stream RTSP URL" button after connecting the camera.
If your camera is an NDI camera, then you can click the "+" next to "Media Layers", then select "NDI
Source". After selecting the planned NDI camera, click the "Add" button. The advantage of this method is
that it can reduce the delay of the video, which is also the advantage of NDI cameras.
