Camera Preview
You can now see the video from the camera in the preview area. You can also choose to preview it on other
programs. Click the "First Stream RTSP URL" or "Second Stream RTSP URL" button, you can get its rtsp
address, and then use it to preview it in programs like VLC, OBS, etc.
Right-click this area, you can choose to play the first stream or the second stream channel.
But here are some things to note:
1. The best working environment for video preview is H.264 encoding, and the video resolution is lower than 4k;
2. In order to achieve a low-latency preview experience, the previewed video is compressed.
3. We think you already know that RTSP has a large delay characteristic, it can't compare with the delay of NDI.
Especially with the default settings of other programs like VLC, OBS, etc. You can find their optimized settings to
reduce latency on YouTube, Google, etc.
4. The second stream channel is not an HD channel, so it has lower latency, but it cannot display the OSD menu
content. When you have to use H.265 encoding for the first stream channel or use a top0 4K camera resulting in poor
preview effect, it is recommended to try the second stream channel for preview;
5. You can log in to the camera's WebUI to set the resolution, frame and bit rate of the first and second streams.
Please note that after you click the submit button, the camera must be rebooted for the settings to take effect.
