System Cards
TOPEX VoxiPLUS is built on compact and reliable equipment with up to 4 GSM channels in
small version and up to 12 GSM channels for advanced version.
This advanced variant of equipment is enclosed in a 2U cabinet and can take up to four PCB
cards:

These plug-in cards contain several functions:
Processor function
IP interfaces: LAN and WAN
GSM interfaces
Telephony interfaces (FXS or FXO)
Thus the 2U version of TOPEX VoxiPLUS may feature up to 12 Quad Band GSM or UMTS
modules that allow the easiest connection to the best suited mobile Network.
2.4.1 PG-VoIP
Card
The “brain” of the equipment is the PG VoIP card, which includes the processor and a XD
flash memory Card that stores the embedded applications for the TOPEX VoxiPLUS equipment.
The processor card has a fixed position in the system rack, it must always be inserted in the
topmost slot, as shown in the image below:
