3-2. Connecting to the Power Source and Grounding
WARNING
Connect the MX-307, 207 and 107 to a power outlet of the voltage
specified as correct for the instrument. Do not connect the
instrument to a shared outlet.

Do not use extension cords or power strips.

The MX-307, 207 and 107 should be properly grounded, thereby protecting the operator against
electrical shock from the power outlet. If the necessary grounding is not provided in your facility,
contact a qualified electrician for arrangement of a proper grounding.
Protection against electrical shock is provided by connecting the protective grounding wire to the
ground terminal.
Connect the power plug to the proper outlet. Be sure to provide protective grounding.
