After replenishment of oil is complete,
start the engine and make sure that
the warning lamp in the tachometer
is turned off without sounding of
the buzzer or the warning lamp in
the switch box is turned off without
sounding of the buzzer.

Cooling water lacking
If the cooling water temperature for
the engine exceeds the specific
degree during operation, the warning
lamp flashes with the buzzer sounding
and the engine speed is automatically
slowed down.
Remedy:
Move the boat to a safe place as
soon as possible, and turn the throttle
grip or control lever to the low speed
position. Then, shift the shift lever or
control lever to the Neutral(N) position
and stop the engine after making sure
that cooling water is drained out of
the cooling water check port.
If dust, vinyl, etc. are adhering to the
gear case, remove them.

This controlled engine speed
will not be canceled unless the
following operation

and
②
is
done although the cooling water
get back to normal temperature.
Note
This warning is let out according
to the sensing result of the cooling
water only; without regard to sensing
conditions of combustion, lubrication,
etc.
