9. Open the Lid by pressing on the Lid Release Button. Stand to the side
of the Fryer to avoid heat and steam as the Lid is opened.
10. Attach the Handle to the Frying Basket by sliding the Handle Clip into
the Basket Handle Bracket. Lift up so that the Handle Clip catches on
the Basket Handle Bracket.
11. Gently lower the Frying Basket into the oil. Remove the Handle by
disengaging the Handle Clip from the Basket Handle Bracket and lift
out the Handle.
12. Close the Lid. You will hear the safety lock click if the Lid is properly
closed. NOTE: This product generates heat and escaping steam at a
high temperature in the area around the filter steam vents. Do not
touch or block this area.
13. Take note of the time and refer to the Frying Guide on the exterior wall
of the Fryer or the Frying Table below. Please note that these cooking
times are only a guide and the exact cooking time will depend on the
size of pieces being cooked and the temperature of the food. Check
food from time to time.
14. Once cooking is done, remove the plug from wall outlet. Raise the
Basket by attaching the Handle. Rest the Frying Basket over the oil by
placing the upper edge of the Basket Rest over the lip of the Fryer.
Allow oil to drain off for a few minutes.
15. Remove food from Frying Basket and place on absorbent paper. Do not
allow food to remain in the Frying Basket over hot steam for an extended
period of time. Food will lose its crispness.
