Above the routing block,     the splice trays      for splicing
the splitter input fibers from the splitter trays     are mounted.
The input fibers are routed accordingly.

From the splitter tray, the output fibers are fed to the sub-
scriber splice tray     above them. Above this are the patch
trays     with the LC/APC duplex adapter      . In the tray, 4
pigtails      are terminated on the input side of the adapter
and the fiber is stored in the tray for splicing on to the cables
coming from the subscriber (4 fibers).

The output patch port 3 + 4 is connected by the patch
cables      to the adapter     in the patchfield box      for open
access functionality. These patch cables are accordingly
protected routed/pre-installed within the base      and is
parked at the parking panel      for terminating a second
operator.

At the output port 1 + 2, the two pigtails      for the service
activation with the operator are routed to the corresponding
subscriber tray     . The red pigtail is planned to connect e.g.
the TV signal and gets spliced to the corresponding fiber of
the splitter output in the tray. The green pigtail for the IT
service gets in the subscriber tray directly spliced to the
corresponding fiber of the operator.
(In the appendix under chapter 8 you will find an enlarged
representation of the figure)
