1  Introduction

The ACE TCB-O (Tower Connection Box - Open Access) is
a robust metal wallbox and is used for the broadband
network build up in multi dwelling units and huge real estate
facilties. The compact box with dimension: H= 80 x W 43 x
D 22,5 cm allows the installation in areas with limited space.
The box is available in different versions, like fully equipped
version, as well as an empty box and it can be individually
customized configured using the ACE-Code configurator
tool.

This box is designed so that all apartments of a building are
connected to the wall box and the fiber connection is made
via pre-assembled splitters (PON). The first-supplying
network operator can connect the subscriber in the main
unit of the box by means of a splice connection.

The open access option for accessing a 2nd operator is
made without access to the connection area of the first
supplier or owner, via the permanently integrated lateral
patch box by direct connection with patch cable.

Installation manual

This installation manual is addressed to trained staff and requires particular expertise in working with fiber optics, optical
cable, tubes, blown fiber cable as well as professional handling with FO-connector systems and permanent splice
termination technology.
This manual should be studied completely before the installation.
In every case the applicable accident prevention regulations and the specific regulations for working and operating fiber
optic systems must be observed.

Warning! Possible invisible laser radiation!

During all operations at optical systems the relevant regulations for dealing with fiber optics and possible laser
radiation must be observed strictly.

Remarks on dealing with fiber optic cable

When working on fiber optic cable and fiber observe the manufacturer information and use the appropriate tools.
Ensure at cutting tools the correct depth by a trial cut and adjust if required.
The applicable safety measures must be followed, like wearing safety glasses. Fiber remains must be professional
