EN - 17
To charge the battery, a socket with a
diferential safety switch (Fig. 3.E) is supplied
(where required) to which the charge
cable (Fig. 3.D) must be connected.
The socket with the diferential
safety switch must be connected to
the mains power network and an
operating test must be carried out:
1.
Press the "RESET" button (Fig. 16.A)
to activate operation. The indicator
light must be "ON" (Fig. 16.B).
2.
Press the "TEST" button (Fig. 16.C) to
carry out the operating test. The indicator
light must be "OFF" (Fig. 16.B).
If the operating test is not completed
successfully, the yield with the diferential
switch must not be used. If the operating
test is completed successfully, it
can be used and the operator can
proceed with the charging phase.
It takes approximately 3.5 hours to fully
charge the battery during which time the
charging screen (Fig. 8) activates and
indicates the percentage of charge reached.
The battery can be kept in charge mode
for an indeinite period of time.
IMPORTANT
When battery charge reaches
99%, the system will balance the battery
cells until a charge of 100% is reached.
This operation can take a few minutes.
Always wait for charge to reach 100%
before disconnecting the charge cable.
When the charging operation has
been completed, the charge system
reduces the current supply as far as
necessary to maintain and reintegrate
the battery charge to optimal values.
When the charge cable is removed from
the machine, the display goes back to the
"operating screen" for approximately 5
seconds and then the machine switches of.
NOTE
Energy consumption
to maintain the battery charge is
extremely low with negligible cost.
NOTE
During the charging operations,
all machine functions are inactive, even if
the key is set to the ignition position.
IMPORTANT
The battery installed
on the machine has been designed and
constructed for this type of use, therefore:
- DO NOT disconnect or remove the
batteries from their respective housings;
- DO NOT replace the batteries with
other non-original batteries;
- DO NOT carry out interventions unless
they have been indicated in this manual.
In the event of any problems with the
batteries, contact your Dealer.
Remove the key during
charging operations to prevent
uncontrolled use of the machine.
8.5 CUTTING MEANS ASSEMBLY
For assembly and disassembly operations
and for cleaning the cutting means, refer to the
instructions provided in the dedicated manual.
8.6 LUBRICATION
Object
Action
Central point
Clean with compressed air.
Lubricate with oil (Fig. 17.A).
Steering
chains
Clean with compressed air.
Lubricate with a universal
chain spray (Fig. 17.B).
Steering pulley Clean with compressed
air (Fig. 17.C).
Tensioning
arms
Lubricate the supporting
points with oil as each control
is actuated (Fig. 17.D).
This operation should be
carried out by two people.
Front axles of
the wheels
Remove the wheels and
handles of the quick-release
couplings. Lubricate the axles
with grease (Fig. 17.E).
8.7 CLEANING
Clean thoroughly following the instructions
below every time it is used.
8.7.1 Cleaning the machine
•
Clean the outside of the machine washing
the plastic parts of the bodywork with a
damp sponge using water and detergent,
taking care not to wet the electric motors, the
battery or the parts of the electrical system.
•
To reduce ire hazards, keep the engine
and the battery housing free of grass,
leaves, or excessive grease.
IMPORTANT
Never use pressurised
water. It could damage the gaskets of the
axles and the electrical components.
