6.6 EMERGENCY BUTTON
The emergency button (Fig. 5.F) allows
the machine to be stopped immediately
in the event of an emergency.
The mushroom type button has two positions:
1. Activated:
press the mushroom
button to activate it. The machine
turns of immediately.
IMPORTANT
The machine
cannot be started when the
mushroom button is activated.
2. Deactivated:
turn the mushroom
button to deactivate it. The
machine can be started by
repeating the start-up procedure
using the key (par. 6.5).
6.7 MECHANICAL ATTACHMENT
LIFTING PEDAL
The mechanical attachment lifting pedal
controls the lifting system and serves to
bring the attachments from the work position
to the transport position. (Fig. 6.A)
1. Transport position:
press the
pedal fully (Fig. 6.A) and then
remove your foot, The pedal
will remain depressed and
the symbol shown in Fig. 7.I
will appear on the display.
2. Work position:
press the pedal
fully (Fig. 6.A), move the locking
lever (Fig. 6.B) to the left, release the
pedal (Fig. 6.A). The symbol shown
in Fig. 7.I1 appears on the display.
NOTE
The machine has a safety system which
prevents engagement of the cutting means when
they are in the maintenance or transport position.
6.8
POWERTAKE-OFFCONTROL(PTO)
The power take-of control (Fig. 6.C)
allows the attachments itted at the front
to be activated or deactivated.
1. PTO activated:
to actuate the
front attachment, press the front
part of the PTO control (Fig.
6.C). The symbol shown in Fig.
7.F. appears on the display.
2. PTO deactivated:
to deactivate
the front attachment, press the rear
part of the PTO control (Fig. 6.C)

The power take-off must never be
activated when the front attachment is
in the work/maintenance position. This
would damage the belt transmission.
6.9 CUTTING MEANS ASSEMBLY
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT CONTROL
The cutting height can be adjusted electrically
using a designated control (Fig. 6.D)
.
1. To increase the cutting
height:
to increase the cutting
height, press the front part
of the control (Fig. 6.D). The
symbol shown in Fig. 7.I2
appears on the display
2. To reduce the cutting height:
to reduce the cutting height,
press the rear part of the control
(Fig. 6.D). The symbol shown in
Fig. 7.I3 appears on the display
6.10 TRANSMISSION ENGAGEMENT /
DISENGAGEMENT LEVER
The transmission engagement/disengagement
lever (Fig. 6.E) allows the machine to
be moved manually (pushed or towed)
without having to start the machine.
This control has two position which
are indicated on the dataplate:
1. Drive engaged :
move the
lever (Fig. 6.E) to the left. The
machine can be moved normally
by starting the
machine
.
2. Transmission disengaged:
move the lever (Fig. 6.E) to
the right. The machine can
be moved manually without
having to start the machine
.
Only move the machine
manually on a level surface!
The engagement/disengagement
lever must never be in the intermediate
position. This condition will cause
overheating and damage the transmission.
When the transmission is disengaged
manually after the machine has been
started, the specific fault (Fig. 7.H2) will
appear on the display. To move the machine
manually, engage the transmission using
the designated engagement lever (Fig. 6.E).
