Exterior Equipment

or equipment to the brow area. The hardtop
frame is not designed to support the weight
of accessories in this area and can be dam-
aged.

The hardtop warranty will be voided if the top

is modified in any way or heavy accessories
are mounted to the top. Also, if items like

radar antennas, spotlights and other acces-
sories are mounted in the wrong location, the
warranty can be voided. If you intend to add

equipment or make modifications to the hard

-

top, contact Tiara Yachts Customer Relations

to make sure the equipment you would like to

add or the intended modification will not void

the hardtop warranty.

CAUTION

!

Care should be exercised to prevent
damage to powder coated surfaces.
If the surface is scratched, chipped
or  worn  exposing  the  aluminum,  it
should  be  resealed  to  prevent  cor-
rosion from forming. If corrosion is
allowed  to  form,  it  could  cause  the
powder  coating  to  bubble  and  lift
away. Contact your dealer for repair
service.

Sunroof and Hatch

The hardtop features an opening hatch above
the helm. Manually retractable blinds provide
shade.

Hardtop Lighting

The hardtop is equipped with overhead white

and red LED lights. Use the overhead red

lights when navigating at night. Operate the

overhead lights using the HARDTOP WHT
LTS and HARDTOP RED LIGHTS buttons

on the helm.

Makefast Sun Shade

The Makefast

®

sun shade is electrically pow-

ered and extends to shade the aft cockpit.

Activate the sun shade using the SUNSHADE

OPEN and CLOSE buttons on the helm. The

SUNSHADE breaker on the DC distribution

panel (installed in the starboard cabin upper
electrical cabinet) must be switched ON.

CAUTION

!

The sun shade must be retracted
during severely windy conditions, or
when boat speeds exceed 5 mph.

7.5 Aft Cockpit

Rotating U-Lounge

The aft cockpit rotates 180 degrees to pro-
vide a view of the open water aft of the boat,
and allow socializing with swimmers.

The aft cockpit should be securely locked in
the forward-facing position anytime the boat

is underway. Do not run the engines or oper

-

ate the boat while the aft cockpit is in the
aft-facing position.

To rotate the cockpit aft:

•

Disengage the latch located outboard

and under the U-lounge port side seat
back.

• Hold the lounge along the seat back and

walk forward toward starboard, and then
aft, until the cockpit locks into place.

To return the cockpit to a forward facing
position:

•

Disengage the latch (which will now be

found to starboard and outboard of the
side seat cushion)

• Hold the lounge along the seat back and

walk forward and then to port, until the
cockpit locks into place.

Keep hands away from the seat mecha-
nism when opening and closing the seat.
