Changing The Door Operator Belt
(Center Opening)
NOTE:
Refer to Figure 4 for this procedure.
1. Loosen the

Adjustment Screw located between the
Idler Base and the Push Bar by turning it Clockwise into
the Idler Base.
2. Loosen the Idler Base by loosening the two

/
8
I
bolts on
either end of the Idler Base.
3. Push the Idler Base toward the Push Bar.
4. Remove the two #10 Hex Socket Cap Screws in the Top
Belt Clamp and remove the Top Belt Clamp.
5. Remove the four #10 Hex Socket Cap Screws Center
Opening Belt Clamp and the Belt Brace Clamp together.
6. Remove the Door Operator Belt.
7. Measure and cut new belt to proper length, if required.

8. Using the Top Belt Clamp as a template, match drill two

holes, one in each end of the belt.
9. Place the belt in position and reinstall the Top Belt Clamp
with two #10 Hex Socket Cap Screws.
10. Reinstall the Center Opening Belt Clamp on the Belt Brace
Clamp with four #10 Hex Socket Cap Screws.
11. Tighten the belt for acceptable belt tension by turning the
Adjustment Screw Counterclockwise from the Idler Base.
12. Tighten the two

bolts on either end of the Idler Base.
