Building An Auto-alignment System - PC Operation

5.3.1

Introduction

The following sections describe the electrical connections and software settings

necessary when the KPA101 position aligner is used with two KPZ101 piezo

K-Cubes, to provide the drive signals to the piezo actuators in the system.

This configurations are by no means the only possible options, and indeed any piezo

controller (MDT693B, BPC series etc.) co uld be used to provide the drive voltage

amplification.

Note

There are only enough hub lines to facilitate comms between one KPA101

unit and a pair of KPZ101 units. If a second KPA101 unit is used with 2

KPZ101 units, then SMA to SMA connections are required.
