Headrest

•  Option shell: gives support to the entire head (Fig. 3)
•  Option neck support: supports the sensitive neck area (Fig. 4)
•  Option adjustable: angle adjustable on both sides for individual positioning (Fig. 5)
Insert the tube of the headrest into the receiver at the top of the headrest bracket and tighten the wing screw. (Fig. 29)
The headrest can be adjusted without fixed increments by loosening the knurled screws on the rear of the backrest.

(Fig. 30) To adjust the angle of the headrest, loosen the wing screws at the headrest bracket. (Fig. 31) In addition, the

headrest can be adjusted in depth by loosening the wing screw on top of the headrest bracket. (Fig. 32) The angle of the

headrest surface is adjustable both vertically and horizontally by loosening the screws of the ball joint. (Fig. 33)
The angle of the lateral parts of the adjustable headrest can be adjusted. To vary the angle, open the cover of the head-

rest in order to to loosen the screws in the hinges by using an Allen wrench.
Make sure to retighten all screws when adjustments are completed.
•  Option headrest fitting, square bar with ball joint: for custom-made headrests (Fig. 6)

Lower leg length

The grub screws on the side of the footrest can be loosened using the Allen wrench (SW 3; Fig. 34). Now the footrest

can be adjusted infinitely. Then the grub screws must be retightened.

Foot angle

Loosen the four screws on the right and left of the underside of the footrest, adjust the desired foot angle, and then

retighten the screws. You will need a 10 mm box wrench or combination wrench (Fig. 35).

Knee angle

Set the knee angle by loosening the red eccentric lever on both knee joints (Fig. 11).
Tip: The footrest can be folded up to simplify getting into and out of the stroller.

Transport

The EASyS Modular S seat unit, together with the A-Chassis Advantage, can be folded up for transport in a vehicle

trunk. Heed the instructions for folding the rehab wagon and use the lock for folding to avoid unintentional unfolding.
The seat unit and chassis can be separated so that their weights can be lifted separately. In this regard, please refer to

the instructions for removing the seat unit.
To ensure the simplest possible handling, use one hand to grab the seat unit by the handle on the headrest tubes, to

which the release lever for the seat tilting is also attached (Fig. 7). With the other hand, grab the front edge of the seat.

Accessories

Remarks: Installation information is found in the Instructions for Use, which are enclosed with the accessory. If the copy

of the Instructions for Use is missing, you can download one from www.thomashilfen.de. The assembly / disassembly of

the accessories is done with standard tools.

Abduction block (Fig. 36)

The abduction block helps spread the legs at the hip joint and position the thighs. It goes at the knees and prevents the

legs from being crossed.

Grip rail (Fig. 37)

The grip rail is affixed by the user and provides extra stability when sitting. The “strongly angled” model of the grip rail

can be used even closer or further away from the user.
