specifications.
2.4 BPC preparation and setup
This section outlines the installation and setup of the DS 300 BPC.
Please become familiar with the orientation of the BPC and the drum
before beginning to install it. For reference, on closed-top BPCs, the
front of the bag is designated as the panel containing the bearing
port. This should face the bearing port receiver and motor as the bag
is loaded. In addition, confirm that the correct volume BPC is being
used in a drum with a corresponding volume.
2.4.1 BPC handling instructions
Do not use scissors or any sharp objects when opening outer
polybags. When placing the BPC in containers, do not drag it over
corners or sharp objects. Do not lift the BPC by the corners or top
seams. Allow the BPC to fill to capacity. After filling, disconnect
the bag from the fill line. Carefully coil tubing on top of the BPC to
prevent puncturing the BPC with cable ties or clamps. Use cushioning
between tubing and BPC in storage and transport.
