8. Remove the large wing nuts from the front support brace (Figure
2.5). Then pull the front support brace from the crate (Figure 2.6),
pulling both sides straight out at the same time to keep the bolts
from binding inside the brace.
9. Carefully remove the DS 300 S.U.M. by rolling it forward out of the
crate (Figure 2.7).
CAUTION: Do not lift the unit by its casters.
If the unit must be
lifted, lift by the bottom of the cart frame.

10. Remove all foam and plastic wrap packaging materials from
the unit. The handheld control unit is wrapped separately and
attached to the side of the handle. Use caution when cutting the
packaging material from the device. Then hang the handheld
device on the hook (Figure 2.8).
