CCT Gas
The Collision Reaction Cell allows the selective removal of polyatomic
interferences.
The following services must be supplied by the customer:

Gas
•
Two-stage gas pressure regulator (for 1/16" capillary, 1/4" to 1/16"
adapter will be supplied with the instrument)
Helium
A CCT installation test is performed with helium gas to pressurize the
QCell™. See
Table 5-5 for details of the helium gas requirements.
Oxygen or Mixtures with Helium (for QCell)
See Table 5-6 for details of the oxygen gas requirements. All mixture
ratios are permitted.
NOTICE
The CCT gas outlet should be located at a maximum distance of 2 to
3 meters to the left of the instrument. Thermo Fisher Scientific
supplies 2 x 3 meters of gas tubing with the instrument.
