Using the nanoViper Fitting
For some LC instruments, the plumbing connects to the EASY-Spray column through several
nanoViper fittings, such as the one shown in
. Although these fittings can withstand
ultra-high-performance LC (UHPLC) backpressures up to 1200 bar (17 400 psi), they are
fingertight fittings that require only very small torques to seal. Therefore, you must follow the
next procedure to avoid damage by overtightening.

If you later manually turn the temperature control knob, you
must repeat this procedure to reset the touch-screen value.
