H. CONNECTING FURNACE TO VENT / INTAKE TERMINATIONS

Figure 7A-D depict typical exhaust vent and air intake connections for the furnace model series
CLQS1, as well as a list of required parts to correctly install each system.
For the -100 & -125 models, which require 3-inch PVC pipe, there will still be a short section of
2-inch PVC pipe & fittings at the furnace, as the grommet and intake flange are both sized for 2-
inch. The length of 2-inch PVC pipe between the furnace cabinet and the 2-inch x 3-inch reducer
fitting must be kept to a minimum. The maximum length of that 2-inch PVC pipe should be 12
inches.
