3.3.12 View BMC System Event Log
This feature displays the BMC System Event Log (SEL). It shows the total number
of entries of BMC System Events.
To view an event, select an Entry Number and pressing <Enter> to display the infor-
mation as shown in the screen.
• Total Number of Entries
• SEL Entry Number
• SEL Record ID
• SEL Record Type
• Event Timestamp
• Generator ID
• Event Message Format User
• Event Sensor Type
• Event Sensor Number,
• Event Dir Type
• Event Data.
3.3.12.1 Clear BMC System Event Log
Clear BMC System Log
Select OK and press the <Enter> key to clear the BMC system log. Select Cancel to
keep the BMC System log. The options are
OK (default) and Cancel.
Caution: Any cleared information is unrecoverable. Make absolutely sure that you
no longer need any data stored in the log before clearing the BMC Event Log.
