Forgot My Network IP Address
I f you forget y our n et w ork I P addr ess and hav e no physical access t o t he sy st em ,
you can find out t he I P address by eit her looking direct ly ont o t h e Thecus I P st orage
OLED pan el, or by using t he set up w izard t o ret r ieve t he I P of y our Thecus I P
st orage.
1. St art t he Set up Wizard, and it will aut om at ically det ect all Thecus I P st or age
product s on you r net w ork.
2. You should be able t o find t he I P address of t he Thecus I P st orage w hich y ou
have forgot t en in t he D e v ice D iscov e r y scr een.
Can't Map a Network Drive in Windows XP
You m ay have pr oblem s m apping a net w ork drive under t he follow ing condit ions:
1. The net w ork folder is cu rr ent ly m apped using a different user nam e and
passw ord. To connect using a differ ent user nam e and passw ord, first
disconnect any exist ing m appings t o t his net w or k shar e.
2. The m apped n et w ork drive could not be creat ed because t he follow ing error
has occurr ed: M u lt ip le con n e ct ion s t o a se r v e r or sh a r e d r e sou r ce by
t h e sa m e u se r , u sin g m or e t h a n on e u se r n a m e , a r e n ot a llow e d.
Disconnect all previous connect ions t o t h e ser ver or shar ed r esour ce and t ry
again.
