guard provides y ou w it h m any opt ions, including full backup for all shares, cust om
backup for select ed shares and iSCSI v olum e backup. Being based on t he Linux
operat ing syst em , it is also m uch m or e st able and experiences m uch less fr equent
dat a loss during t ransfer t han ot her rem ot e backup syst em s.
- For t his t ut orial you w ill need t o use Rsyn c Target Serv er ( St ep 1) and Dat a Guard
( St ep 2+ 3) under Back up for t his client / ser ver backup feat ure. I t also can be
nam ed for funct ion “ Rem ot e Replicat ion” .
