6. Getting started

• Remove the protective film from the display.
• Connect the attached power adapter to the alarm clock. Insert the power adapter pin into the device jack and connect the plug to a wall socket.

Important! 

Make sure that your household voltage is no more than 240V! Otherwise your device may be damaged.

• The device will alert you with a beep and all segments will be displayed for a short moment.
• The indoor temperature and humidity appear on the display.

6.1 Insert the batteries

• The batteries will operate as a backup power source in case of power failure.
• For a permanent backlight, to use the charging function and to conserve battery power, use the supplied power adapter.
• Open the battery compartment at the back.
• Insert three new AAA 1,5 V batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure the polarity is correct.
• Close the battery compartment again.

6.2 Backlight

Attention: 

Continuous illuminated backlight only works when using the power adapter.

• Press the 

LIGHT/SNOOZE

button once to dim the backlight.

• Press the 

LIGHT/SNOOZE

button once more to turn off the backlight.

• To temporarily activate the backlight, press the 

LIGHT/SNOOZE

button (in battery operation only).

7. Operation

• The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button is pressed for a few seconds.
• Press the 

LIGHT/SNOOZE

button in setting mode to return to normal mode.

• Press and hold the 

or 

button in setting mode for fast mode.

7.1 Settings

• Press and hold the 

SET 

button in normal mode for three seconds to enter the setting mode.

• ENGLISH (default) flashes on the display. 
• Press the 

or 

button to choose the language: English - ENGLISH, German - GERMAN or Spanish - ESPANOL.

• If you select English, the display will now appear in English.
• Press the 

SET 

button again to do the settings in the following sequence: the button tone (BEEP ON - default), the hours, the minutes, the

year, the month and the day, the temperature unit (°C - default) and the snooze interval (10 minutes - default). Press the 

or 

button to

adjust it. 

• Confirm the setting with the 

SET 

button.

7.1.1 Snooze function setting

• In the setting mode you can set the snooze interval.
• Press the 

or 

button to set the desired time duration in steps of 5 minutes (5 to 120 minutes).

7.1.2 24- or 12-hour system setting

• Press the 

+

button in normal mode to choose the 12 HR or 24 HR system.

• In the 12-HR system AM (before noon) or PM (after noon) appears on the display.
