From the Autotest Main screen, press the SETUP
softkey. The Setup screen will be displayed and
automatically sequence through the following
options:
Wavelength? –
Use the softkeys to set the unit to perform Insertion
Loss testing at wavelengths of 850nm, 1300nm or
Both. After selecting, the screen will sequence to
Autosave.
Auto save? –
Use the softkeys to enter NO or YES indicating
whether you want to Auto save the test. If NO is
selected, you will have another opportunity to save
your test measurements for later recall. After
selecting, the screen will sequence to Threshold.
Edit Threshold? –
Thresholds are used to set and display Pass/Fail
levels in test reporting. Use the softkeys to set test
thresholds as follows:
No –
Test thresholds will not be used and a
Pass/Fail result will not be provided with the test
results.
Mask -
Selects from a previously defined set of
standards stored in the unit. (Go to Pg. 23)
Edit -
Sets/Resets thresholds previously selected
(Go to Pg. 24)
