EMC Compliant 10/100-Mbps Ethernet PHY Reference
Design With IEEE 802.3at Type-1 (

12.95 W) PoE-PD

Description

This reference design provides a cost-optimized
solution for 10 to 100 Mbps using the low-power
Ethernet physical layer (PHY) DP83825I supporting
150-m reach over CAT5e cable which is beyond the
standard Ethernet distance limitation of 100 m (328
feet). Also, demonstrating power delivery over
Ethernet cable along with data communication using
IEEE 802.3at Type-1 (13 W) PoE-PD TPS23755
device with integrated primary side regulated flyback
DC/DC controller. This reference design is pre-
compliance tested for radiated emissions, ESDs and
EFTs.
