Solution
With stereo sources such
as the playback of radio
or an MP3 player, the
rear satellites and/or the
center speaker do not
emit sound.
MP3s, radio as well as many TV
programmes only transmit stereo
sound.
Switch the Impaq 8000 to a Pro-Logic mode or
one of the DSP modes (5.1 Stereo). See „Sur-
round mode selection“ on page 17.
No Dolby/DTS multi-chan-
nel sound is emitted via
the connected digital
source.
With the playback of digital sourc-
es, the Impaq 8000 automatically
recognises the format of the sig-
nal source. If the Impaq 8000 fails
to play multi-channel sound, there
is presumably no multi-channel
signal. Digital signal sources do
not always transmit multi-channel
sound, but may also emit regular
stereo sound (2.0).
“No disc” on the display.
CD/DVD/BD is damaged, dirty,
incompatible or inserted upside
down.
Clean or change the disc.
No or distorted
music playback.
Incorrect file format. See table
„Supported data formats“ on page
34.
Delete or skip the incorrect files.
File damaged.
BD Live function disrupt-
ed.
No Internet connection.
Test the network settings and correct them if
necessary (page 23).
No USB stick has been inserted.
BD Live requires a USB stick with 1 GB of capac-
ity.
BD Live storage full.
Check the memory and clear if necessary (page
26).
No sound in Bluetooth
®
mode.
No Bluetooth
®
connection.
Establish a connection (see page 32).
Impaq 8000 has not been select-
ed as the output device.
On your source device, select “Impaq 8000” as
the Bluetooth
®
output device.
Bluetooth
®
connection impaired
by another radio system (e.g.
cordless telephone or microphone,
Wi-Fi).
Set up the Impaq 8000 and/or the source de-
vice in another location. Move to another room
to test.
No sound via cable (AUX). Volume of the playback program
has been set to zero.
Carefully increase the volume on the source
device.
You cannot toggle sur-
round mode.
You are probably using a digital input. If a multi-channel Dolby or DTS signal is
received on this input, the Impaq 8000 will automatically switch to the correct sur-
round mode.
