Station memory
Your Impaq 8000 can save up to 30 FM stations. You
can conveniently select the saved stations.
Saving stations manually
1. Set the desired station as described above.
2. Push the
MEMORY button (41)
.
The number of the first available memory slot will
blink on the display
(4)
and on the screen.
3. Enter the two digits of the desired memory slot with
the number buttons

or select a memory
slot with the navigation buttons

4. Push the
MEMORY button (41)
again.
The memory slot number will stop blinking.
The station has now been saved.
Saving stations automatically
Notice
: All saved stations are deleted in the process.
1. Push the
SEARCH button (53)

The question “APS Start?” will appear on the dis-
play
(4)
.
2. Push the
OK button (26)
to continue or the button
(51)
to abort.
3. Station scanning will start. The radio will now
search for stations with adequate transmission
power and automatically save them.
Once all 30 memory slots are occupied or the
end of the frequency band has been reached, the
station seek will stop and switch to the last station
found.
Selecting stations from the memory
You can select the saved stations one after anoth-
er with the navigation buttons

Deleting saved stations
Push the
CLEAR button (23)
to clear the currently
selected station memory slot.
