Preparing the coupler socket
Attaching the coupler socket
Depending on the generator type/connection
cable, the cable connection (2) built into the
coupler socket (1) may have to be converted.
If conversion is required:
Remove the cable connection (2).
Coat the threading of the reducer (5) with
Loctite 572 (3) and screw it in.
Coat the threading of the smaller cable
connection (4) with Loctite 572 and screw
it in.

Setting the coupler socket in place (front view; right)
Fasten the coupler socket (2) onto the
dipperstick (1) with fastening screws (6).
Remove the swivel nut (3) and push it over
the magnet cable.
Remove the fastening screws (5) from the
cover cap (4).
Remove the cover cap and push it over
the magnet cable.

Cable end clamping
Insert the fastening screw with washer (2)
into the clamping plate (3) and place
against the cable end (1) as shown here.
Make certain the cable end is resting with
its contact area (4) completely level
against the contact place (5).
