Setting the V-belts in place
Set the V-belt in place on the V-belt pulleys of
the engine (1) and generator (2).

Aligning the upper tensioning pulley (view: fan side; right)
Aligning the upper tensioning pulley and
tightening the bolts
Swivel the upper tensioning pulley in onto
the V-belts.
Align the tensioning pulley to the engine.
To do this, place the long ruler against the
tensioning pulley (2) and V-belt pulley on
the engine (1).
Tighten all fastening screws at the base of
the tensioning pulley support (3).

Aligning the lower tensioning pulley and
tightening the bolts
Swivel the lower tensioning pulley in onto
the V-belts.
Align the tensioning pulley to the engine.
To do this, place the short ruler against the
tensioning pulley (2) and V-belt pulley on
the engine (1).
Tighten all fastening screws at the base of
the tensioning pulley support (3).
