Menu: Encoder / Inserter
A logo insertion will be also supported at the ENC-300. Therefore you must create a bitmap file, which
you send to Teracue. Your bitmap file must meet the following criteria:
The bitmap has max. 16 colors. One of the colors can be defined as a transparent color.
The width of your image (number of pixels) must be divisible by 4.
The image must not exceed a total of 16000 pixels. This can be checked with the following
formulas:
For HD logo:
(Width + 8) × 24
≤ 16000
For example:
The bitmap has a resolution of 360x42.
(360 + 8) × 42 + 24 = 15480

For SD logo:
(2 × Width + 8) × 24
≤ 16000
For example:
The bitmap has a resolution of 200x35.
(2 × 200 + 8) × 35 + 24 = 14304

If your bitmap file meets all of the criteria, please send it to Teracue (
). Teracue
creates the corresponding logo file (*.ppm) and sends this file back to you. After you have received this
special logo file, you can upload your logo file via the ENCODER > INSERTER menu, see Figure 19.
