D1.6  Checking the connection between display circuit board and

          power circuit board

Checks

1

Move the machine onto flat and dry flooring.

2

Make sure that there is enough room around the machine to perform the test safely.

Undo the fixing screws of the top cover, and remove the cover.

Disconnect the two battery connectors (red and black).

5

Expose the display circuit board as described in the previous heading.

Reconnect the two battery connectors (red and black).

Apply a jump across 

PIN 1

 and 

PIN 6

 of the display circuit board wiring connector.

If the machine starts up, then the connection is good; if not, there is a problem with the display pcb.
