Turning indicator tones on and off
There are various indicator and warning tones that can be turned on or
off.
Button click: The handset emits a confirmation click each time a button
is pressed. The button click can be turned on or off.
Low battery warning: If the batteries charge is too low, a beeping signal
warns that the handset needs recharging.
Range warning: If you are too far away from the base station, a beep
warns that you should move closer to it in order to maintain contact.

You will now hear a confirmation beep.

Changing your PIN number
A PIN number protects some of the telephone system functions from
unauthorized use. The PIN consists of four digits. The phone is
delivered with the PIN number set to “0000”. To change the PIN number,
proceed as follows:
1.
Press the
MENU
button.
2.
Use the
p
and
q
buttons to select the
SETUP
menu then press
the
MENU
button.
3.
Use the
p
and
q
buttons to select the
PIN CODE
function then
press the
MENU
button.
PIN?
appears on the display.
4.
Now enter the current four digit PIN number using the
number buttons (factory setting, 0 0 0 0 ), then press the
MENU
button.
NEW PIN
appears on the display.
