Recharging the handset
1. On the handset, slide the cover and

Always observe the direction of
insertion. Close the lid.
2. Place the handset on the base and
allow to charge for at least 24 hours
before its first use, until the handset

.
3. If necessary, do the same for other
handsets.
Note on the batteries
The
icon on the display flashes
when batteries are discharged. It is
imperative to allow the handset to
charge before use. The
icon is
animated during charging.
Once charged, the batteries provide a
range of approximately 10 hours of
talk and 100 hours of standby. Note
that new batteries do not have their full
capacity after normal use for several
days.
For optimal conservation of batteries,
leave the handset off the base for a
few hours.
A complete discharge of the batteries
once a week will prolong their lifespan.
The charge capacity of the batteries
will decrease over time, reducing the
range of the handset. A change of
batteries may eventually be necessary.
The handset and the batteries may
become warm during charging.
Batteries that are inserted incorrectly,
exposed to heat or damaged may leak.
Use only rechargeable batteries
recommended. Their replacement by
non-rechargeable or non-conforming
batteries may damage the handset.
Never dispose of batteries in fire. Use
the recycling system.
