Power Supply
All voltages required by NIRvana HS camera systems are generated and delivered by an
external power supply included with each NIRvana HS camera. Refer to
, on page 80 for complete specifications.
CAUTION!

Use of a power supply other than that provided with the
NIRvana HS camera will void the camera warranty. For
specific power supply requirements, contact Teledyne
Princeton Instruments. Refer to

page 100 for complete information.
Each NIRvana HS camera system includes:
•
An external power supply with spring-loaded, 4-pin DIN connector that
connects to the rear of the NIRvana HS camera chassis.

CAUTION!
!
When removing the DIN connector from the NIRvana HS,
always grasp the connector by the black housing closest to
the chassis and then pull straight out to disengage the
connector from the camera chassis. Failure to do so may
damage the connector and/or the camera. Such damage is
not covered under warranty.

A line cord to connect to an appropriate AC receptacle. Refer to
page 21 for complete information.
The receptacle on the line cord should be compatible with line-voltage line
cords in common use in the region to which the system is shipped.
If the line cord’s receptacle is incompatible, a compatible adapter should be
installed on the line cord, taking care to maintain the proper polarity to protect
the equipment and assure user safety.
