Cursors
Cursors set measurement points on a trace. There are five preset cursor
types, each with a unique appearance on the display: Horizontal (Time),
Hori Vertical, Vertical (Amplitude), Horizontal (Frequency), and
Horizontal (Event). These are described in more detail in the
WaveSurfer
10 Oscilloscopes Operator’s Manual.
From the Front Panel
From the Display
Choose Cursor > Cursor Setup to open the Cursor dialog.
Touch to choose Cursor Type.
Touch-and-drag cursor line to reposition cursor.
Vertical Cursor readout appears on descriptor boxes.
Horizontal Cursor readout appears below Timebase.
Press to apply cursor. Continue
pressing to cycle through all cursor
types.
Turn to adjust cursor position. Push
to reset the cursor to the default
position. When both Horizontal and
Vertical cursors are displayed, push
the knob to switch the cursor that
is being controlled.
