First, set the generator frequency
and amplitude, and set the
horizontal position.
Second, set the trigger
level and vertical offset.
Third, measure the trigger level
using cursors.

Press CURSOR; then rotate the general purpose knob to align
the active cursor with the start of the waveform.

CHECK that the @ Cursor readout is –310 mV to –490 mV.

If your oscilloscope has a delay line confirm each input channel trigger
source: Press TRIGGER MENU; then press the main-menu button
Source. Now press the side-menu button that corresponds to the input
channel trigger source you wish to confirm. Repeat substeps 2b and c for
all input channel trigger sources.
4.
Disconnect the hookup:
a.
First set the output of the generator to 0 volts.
b.
Then disconnect the cables and adapters from the generator output
at the input connectors of channel last confirmed and the EXT TRIG-
GER INPUT.
