Specification Description
Emissions Emissions shall be within the limits specified by the following requirements.

Medical Equipment
Use only high quality shielded interface cables having a reliable, continuous outer shield
(braid and foil) that has low impedance connections to shielded connector housings at
both ends.
Immunity, enclosure, electrostatic discharge
(ESD) Up to 8 kV air discharge and 4 kV contact discharge with no change to control settings,
no impairment of normal operation, and no damage that prevents recovery of normal
operation by the user.
Immunity, fast transients, electrical No loss of stored data, change to control settings, degradation of performance, or
temporary loss of function will occur when the system is subjected to the transients as
