Set:

HORIZONTAL  MODE 
VERTICAL  MODE 
CH  1  Input  COUPLING

A
CH  1  (CH  2  off) 
DC

b. 

Connect  leveled  sine-wave  generator  output  to  the  CH  1  input  via  a 

50  f l   BNC  coaxial  cable  and  a  50  f l   BNC  termination.

c. 

Set leveled sine-wave generator output for six divisions of signal display 
amplitude  at  50  kHz.

e. 

Position  dot  to  graticule  center.

f. 

Set  CH  1  Input  COUPLING  to  DC.

g. 

CHECK—ellipse  opening  at  the  center  is  0.3  division or  less,  measured 
horizontally.
