INTENDED USE
- The valves of this series are intended for use exclusively
on agricultural equipment designed to spray phytosanitary
products and non-potable water. The materials chosen are
resistant to normal agricultural crop-spraying and herbicide
products in use at the time this manual was issued.
- Do not use the valves with: gaseous or explosive sub-
stances, with dense or abrasive powders; in an explosive
or gas-laden atmosphere.
- The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
damages resulting from improper use.
- For further information and requests for spare parts and
accessories, contact the Geoline - Tecomec Customer
Services.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The valve must be installed by a skilled technician.
Always follow the instructions written on the packaging
of the chemical products used. The handling of chemical
substances can harm persons and animals; pay utmost at-
tention and comply with regulations in force on such matter.
These products should only be used by appropriately
trained personnel.
Use personal protection equipment
(gloves, goggles and mask) when handling liquids used
for crop-spraying or herbicidal treatments. Never swallow
the liquids in the circuit.
Supply only direct current at 12V
(±10%)
Never exceed the maximum pressures or flow-rates.
Disconnect the valve from the electrical and hydraulic
supplies and release the residual pressure from the
circuit when carrying out maintenance activities.
Do not spray water over the valve.
Do not use the valve if there is ice.

accessories
GENERAL INFORMATION AND GUARANTEE
Geoline is the spraying accessories division of Tecomec
S.r.l. Any time that either name is mentioned, it relates
nevertheless to Tecomec S.r.l.
The Manufacturer will not honour the guarantee nor ac-
cept any liabilities for damages in the following instances:
- failure to comply with the contents of the instruction
manual;
- use of the valve different to that specified in the section
entitled “INTENDED USE”;
- use that contrasts with current regulations on Health &
Safety at the workplace;
- incorrect installation;
- failure to carry out the required maintenance;
- modifications or maintenance activities not authorised
FIRST PART
by the Manufacturer;
- the use of non-original or inappropriate spare parts;
- repairs not carried out by a skilled technician.
The manufacturer undertakes to guarantee the equipment
described in this manual for a period of 12 months from
the date of delivery.
The guarantee does not cover:
- parts subject to wear and tear
- routine maintenance
- valve installation and regulation
- consultations and specific actions requested by the
customer.
USING AND STORING THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Reproduction of any part of this publication without au-
thorisation on behalf of the manufacturer (Tecomec S.r.l.)
is forbidden.
The instruction manual forms an integral part of the valve
and must be kept in a safe place where it can be consulted
promptly whenever needed.
This manual also becomes an integral part of the docu-
mentation of the equipment on which the valve is installed.
This manual consists of two separate parts. The FIRST
PART is written for the final user and the skilled techni
-
cian. The SECOND PART is written exclusively for the
skilled technician.
DEFINITIONS
Skilled technician: a person, generally from the assistance
centre, trained appropriately by the manufacturer and au-
thorised to carry out extraordinary maintenance activities
and repairs on this equipment.
